Only 20 years old and hailing from Fresno, California, Carpetgarden are already in good stead to become one of the most hotly hyped and fiercely discussed new artists of the year. Imagine Bright Eyes spliced with beats by Blood Orange, or the achingly lovely balladry of early Sebadoh but with Clairo at the helm, and you’ll be somewhat close, but not really – for Carpetgarden truly mine a special vein all their own.
